10 injured, 3 legislation enforcement officers hurt after gunfire erupts in Charleston, S.C.

Ten individuals were injured, four critically, and three regulation enforcement officials have been hurt Monday evening after gunfire erupted in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, in response to police.

“There’s a number of weapons that had been fired. Handguns, long weapons, 223 rounds. If anybody doesn’t know what a 223 round will do, it’ll blow your leg proper off, it’ll blow your head right off your shoulders. These are the kinds of rounds that had been fired final night,” Reynolds stated.

He stated there were “a couple different teams shooting at each other generally.”

“As we stand here right now, we’re fortunate we don’t have a dead cop or useless citizen or useless neighborhood members," Reynolds stated.

The investigation is ongoing and officers are nonetheless working the scene.

Two folks have been arrested stemming from the assaults on the deputies, police said.
