EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 instances the authorized alcohol limit after a minimum of five people known as 911.

Officers say the calls started coming in around 4:40 p.m. Monday.

They are saying witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway close to the Essential Avenue exit. They are saying the crash brought on a flat tire and the automobile to smoke, but the driver kept going.

Other callers say the driving force was all over the highway and now lacking a front tire.

They say he ultimately stopped at a automobile dealership and appeared “super drunk.”

Staff instructed police the driver, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was making an attempt to promote his SUV.

Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had simply been in a crash.

They are saying Mattingly smelled of alcohol and nearly fell several instances. Officers say he examined .291 on a conveyable breath check.

Police say inside his SUV, they discovered 4 Loko cans and a can of White Claw.

Mattingly is facing several expenses.

He's the son of the manager for the Miami Marlins and former skilled baseball participant, Don Mattingly.
