Investigators imagine Mtula Payton was one of the alleged gang members who opened fire in downtown Sacramento on April 3. He was taken into custody at an condominium complicated, the Sacramento Police Division said in a statement Saturday night time.

Payton, who police say is a member of a rival gang, was being held in a Nevada jail pending transport again to California.
