BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after a number of signs saying "college shooter" were present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety introduced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of charges.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs around the communities, the Division of Safety stated, but they determined there isn't a credible menace at this time.
The New Hampshire Division of Safety is investigating indicators that read 'school shooter!' which had been present in multiple communities New Hampshire Division of SecurityOne such sign was written on a paper plate. The protection department launched a photograph of the plate however blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of legal threatening and three misdemeanor costs including false report to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and legal threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged at the moment.
