BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after a number of signs saying "faculty shooter" had been found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Safety announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of fees.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs around the communities, the Division of Safety mentioned, but they decided there is no credible menace at this time.
The New Hampshire Department of Security is investigating indicators that learn 'faculty shooter!' which had been found in multiple communities New Hampshire Division of SafetyOne such signal was written on a paper plate. The security division released a photo of the plate but blurred a part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of legal threatening and three misdemeanor expenses including false report to law enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged presently.
