The family of an 11-year-old girl who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed during the capturing.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law referred to as me and she was just crying, like 'I think it just hit Miah. I believe the whole lot got here to reality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera said Miah's teacher, Irma Garcia, was one of the two lecturers killed. Her pals and classmates have been additionally targeted.

Rivera said that's when Miah went into survival mode.
