Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete safety barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front across the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles within the car. Each have been taken to a hospital and are now in steady condition, officers said. We do not know their exact ages.

They’re expected to face expenses.

D.C. police are investigating.
