Bay Area cop charged with masturbating in entrance of household during home violence call

A Bay Area police officer has been charged with masturbating in front of a family that called police during a fraught domestic violence name.

The Santa Clara County District Legal professional’s Workplace has charged Matthew Dominguez, 32, with a misdemeanor indecent publicity after responding to a restraining order name on the night of April 21.

An unidentified individual whose household put a domestic violence restraining order in opposition to him had allegedly violated the order and was on the household’s dwelling, in response to an announcement of details supplied by the District Attorney’s Office.

The mom, identified within the statement as Ms. S, the daddy, Mr. A, and their 23-year-old daughter called police. Dominguez and two other officers arrived on the scene, with the previous taking the “lead investigative function,” per the statement.

Dominguez began the investigation by speaking to the daughter.

“Officer Dominguez took interest in her and continued to work together almost exclusively with her,” the statement learn.

After she gave the officer a doable location, Dominguez allegedly ordered the opposite two officers to conduct the search. Whereas he “milled across the house,” based on the assertion, “he managed to maintain the daughter in view of his Body Worn Digicam.”

Later, the daughter went into the kitchen to get her mom a glass of water. Dominguez allegedly followed her into the kitchen.

As he rotated to face Ms. S, she “saw Officer Dominguez’s penis outdoors of his pants totally exposed,” the statement read.

The mother and daughter then went to seek out Mr. A, the daddy, and they called an uncle who was near the scene.

When Mr. A returned into the kitchen, he “saw Officer Dominguez going through out of the kitchen together with his erect penis in his left hand and his right hand on the counter.” Mr. A left the house; a couple of minutes minutes later, Dominguez allegedly left and went back to work.

“The charged conduct is past disturbing,” District Legal professional Jeff Rosen said. “Regulation enforcement officers respond to our properties to help crime victims, not terrorize, traumatize, and create new victims.”

This is not the first misconduct incident throughout the past month involving San Jose police. An officer investigating the kidnapping of 3-month-old Brandon Cuellar was allegedly drunk in the course of the investigation, tipping off an FBI agent on the scene, KRON reported.

Dominguez is on administrative go away following the incident, the District Attorney’s Workplace said. His arraignment is scheduled for June 22.
