CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The dad and mom of a 6-year-old marathoner are speaking out after they say little one protective companies paid their household an unannounced go to and questioned their youngsters at dwelling.

Ben and Kami Crawford shared a photograph on Instagram Sunday purportedly of one in all their children being interviewed by a CPS staffer. Within the accompanying caption, they wrote partially, "Yesterday Baby Protective Services (CPS) arrived at our residence unannounced and interviewed our youngsters, dad and mom & grandmother. The Crawfords made headlines final week after they let their kids, together with their son Rainier, 6, run the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati on Might 1 and shared it online. The Crawfords keep their 6-year-old wanted to run all alongside and stand by their decision to let the younger boy run 26.2 miles.

"I don't know if I must be indignant. I prefer to believe that persons are doing the perfect that they will. They're not trying to break our life or, you realize, they probably are legit afraid for our kids. But also, it is like, where's the line?" Ben Crawford requested.

"I feel like we're doing what we feel captivated with," Kami Crawford stated. "It will be type of tragic to stop all that."

Consultants say a marathon is a severe physical feat for anyone and it might probably take a toll on a child.

"If a younger youngster were to run a marathon, I am worried about electrolyte abnormalities, nausea, vomiting, heatstroke, all these indicators and symptoms that may not be that clear in a younger little one," Dr. Alok Patel previously told "GMA."
