Teen arrested after mother noticed son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey News) - A number of businesses responded to a middle faculty in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mother noticed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center College around 9 a.m. when she observed the firearm. The teenager by no means made it contained in the constructing, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the world together with several different businesses in an attempt to search out him.
The teen was found near the college’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities mentioned the 15-year-old could be dealing with a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no risk made to the school or anyone inside the school.
O.L. Slaton Center School was briefly placed on lockout on account of the incident.
