DALLAS - The excessive court will enable a wrongful dying lawsuit to proceed in opposition to the city of Dallas and four cops.
The family of a man who died in police custody in 2016 sued.
Tony Timpa called police for assist as he had a drug and mental well being disaster.

Town of Dallas argued the officers are legally protected from lawsuits.
The Supreme Court upheld a federal appeals court docket’s ruling that will permit the case to proceed.

"The decision implies that the case can proceed to trial and that there will probably be no extra delays from any appellate court docket.
