The 17 year-old says her faculty's administration was in support of the walkout and he or she hopes the over 200 deliberate demonstrations across the country ship a transparent message that college students are a "united entrance."
A walkout may not essentially change legislation, Janoff said, but these actions present "college students are still united on this."
She stated that although most college students aren't old enough to vote, they nonetheless need to see change and are prepared to take measures to have their voices heard in politics.
"Students don't need to be quiet about it just because they are a child," Janoff mentioned.
