KATHMANDU, Nepal -- A Nepali Sherpa broke her own document as the most profitable female climber of Mount Everest by reaching the summit of the world's highest peak Thursday.

Lakpa Sherpa and a number of other other climbers took advantage of favorable climate to achieve the 8,849-meter (29,032-foot) summit early within the morning, her brother and expedition organizer Mingma Gelu said. He mentioned she was in good well being and was safely descending from the height.

Sherpa, 48, never got a chance to get a proper training because she had to start incomes a residing by carrying climbing gear and provides for trekkers.
