New York sex worker Angelina Barini sentenced to 30 years for fatally drugging 4 men

Barini met her first victim at a motel in Astoria, Queens, on July 4, 2019. There, she gave the person fentanyl-laced medication and left the room. Police found him lifeless hours later, courtroom data state.

Every week later, on July 11, Barini had an encounter with one other man at a motel in Woodside, Queens, the place she gave him fentanyl-laced medication. The man also died of a drug overdose, a criticism states.

The next month, on Aug. 5, Barini met her third sufferer in Faculty Level, Queens, and again gave him fentanyl-laced medication that led to a deadly overdose, prosecutors stated.

Later that month, on Aug. 18, Barini met her final identified victim, Andrea Zamperoni — a chef for the high-end restaurant chain Cipriani — inside an Elmhurst, Queens, motel room, where she drugged him with gamma-butyrolactone, commonly generally known as a “date rape” drug. The person died shortly afterward.

That day, court docket records state, Barini repeatedly tried to eliminate the sufferer’s body. Barini wrapped Zamperoni’s physique in bleach-stained sheets and positioned it inside a trash bin, in line with prosecutors. Zamperoni was reported missing on Aug. 21, prosecutors mentioned. Fernando Dallorso, the final supervisor of Cipriani in New York, instructed the New York Instances that Zamperoni was a “devoted arduous employee” who cooked six days every week and “never missed a day of labor.”

The kitchen employees mourned the loss, Dallorso informed the Times.

“Everybody in the kitchen proper now's heartbroken, from the dishwasher to the chef,” Dallorso said.
