Man arrested in connection with “faculty shooter” signs found in 3 New Hampshire communities

BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after a number of indicators saying "faculty shooter" have been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security introduced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of expenses. 

An increased quantity of law enforcement officials have been positioned at faculties within the communities because of the indicators. A number of faculties initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the indicators around the communities, the Division of Safety mentioned, but they decided there isn't a credible threat presently.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The protection department launched a photograph of the plate however blurred part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of felony threatening and three misdemeanor prices together with false report to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.

No different suspects have been charged presently.
