BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "school shooter" have been found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety announced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of fees.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs around the communities, the Department of Safety stated, but they decided there is no credible menace at this time.
The New Hampshire Department of Security is investigating indicators that read 'college shooter!' which have been found in multiple communities New Hampshire Department of SecurityOne such sign was written on a paper plate. The safety division launched a photograph of the plate however blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of criminal threatening and three misdemeanor fees together with false report back to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged right now.
