BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after a number of indicators saying "faculty shooter" were present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple charges.

Hanson allegedly positioned the indicators around the communities, the Division of Safety said, however they decided there isn't a credible menace at the moment.
The New Hampshire Department of Security is investigating signs that read 'college shooter!' which were found in multiple communities New Hampshire Division of SecurityOne such sign was written on a paper plate. The protection division launched a photo of the plate but blurred a part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of prison threatening and three misdemeanor charges together with false report back to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No different suspects have been charged presently.
