Man arrested in connection with “school shooter” signs found in 3 New Hampshire communities

BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple signs saying "faculty shooter" had been found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety introduced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple expenses. 

An increased amount of cops have been placed at colleges in the communities on account of the indicators. Multiple colleges initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly positioned the indicators around the communities, the Division of Security stated, but they decided there isn't any credible menace right now.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The security division launched a photo of the plate but blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of felony threatening and three misdemeanor expenses including false report back to law enforcement, false public alarm and criminal threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.
