Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Near White Home: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance throughout the street from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles in the automobile. Each were taken to a hospital and are now in secure condition, officials stated. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re anticipated to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
