A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old woman, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a news launch from the park.
The girl approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Previous Devoted geyser, the park said.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison stay at the park, they usually have injured extra folks than every other animal, the park mentioned.
When the visitor came within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes in the air, the park mentioned.
The lady had puncture wounds and other accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service stated. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two other people have been additionally near the animal when it gored the girl, the park said. The discharge didn’t say if they had been injured.
The park warned people to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and a minimum of 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A previous version of this article misstated the severity of the girl’s injuries. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
